Determine ports  on your TV first

First step will be to determine what port are available on your TV it can be HDMI,Composit or Component connection.

1)HDMI-This kind of connection can carry both Audio and video signals.It supports 1080p resolution.

 2)Component- Supports the video resolution up-to 720p.But a separate audio connection is required.Note your Roku setup box has this kind of ports in the back of it.

3)Composite- This kind of connection does require Analog signals or RCA signals for the audio.
Roku setup box does come with combination of the both composite and the audio cable.
